Geoff and Jill invite you to experience a stay in their delightful barn conversion at Frog Hollow Barnstay. Enjoy a relaxing break and keep an eye out for the guinea fowl and numerous native birds that frequent the garden. Don't forget to see if you can spot some of the many beautiful tree frogs as well. Frog Hollow has its own small orchard and provides guests with the opportunity to taste delicious fruits such as mangoes, mulberries, guavas, passionfruit, custard apples and the more exotic jaboticabas straight from the tree!

A full country breakfast is provided, including farm fresh eggs, local bacon and fruits from the orchard, and you can enjoy breakfast in the gazebo or in the comfort of the cottage. The original homestead on the property is over 120 years old, and was once the home of Pastor Goessling and his wife, where they raised 17 children.

The homestead on the property has an historic past. The first owners, Pastor Johannes Goessling and wife Helene raised 17 children on the property some 120 years ago. Later, the Hughes family, after which the road was named, came to the property around the 1930s and ran a 300 acre dairy farm for many years. The Hughes family were not wealthy, and began selling some of the land, and by the 1960s the property was only 27 acres in size. This was later split in two, leaving just seven and a half acres, the original homestead and the old dairy. The barn or cottage was built in 1950.
