Here at Minto student house, they provide accommodation set in a beautifully restored 1905 Queenslander in rooms not occupied by students.
Perched halfway up the hill on Gladstone Road, with stunning views of the city, Minto oozes the colonial charm. Only 14 minutes walk to the city and six minutes to Southbank Rail Station and within 100 metres of the property, you will find convenience stores, restaurants and buses.
The West End is a hive of activity day and night, a trendy inner city suburb with a vibrant and creative feel to it. The streets lined with cafes, boutiques, restaurants and markets are all only minutes from Minto.
Minto is a delight to the senses; enjoy the verandahs with city views or an intimate chat by the fireplace. It is quiet and newly renovated with shared kitchen and antique look bathrooms.
Unfortunately they do not cater for children under 15 years.

If travelling by car follow the Southeast Freeway and then take the Vulture Street exit from either north or south direction, proceed along Stanley Street in a westerly direction, slight turn at Vulture Street then turn left at Gladstone Road.
Catch the train to Southbank Train Station, take ramp up to Vulture Street, and turn right in a westerly direction. Cross over Merivale Street, cross Vulture Street at the pedestrian lights. Walk up to the intersection of Vulture and Gladstone Roads, turn left and proceed up the hill, cross over Dorchester Street until arriving at the local shopping precinct. Cross over at the traffic lights and proceed further up the hill. Cross over Morris Street and follow on until you reach Minto. This is approximately a 12 minute walk.
There is a minimum two night stay at Minto.
