What's Cooking in the Gardens

What's Cooking in the Gardens will dish up a feast of entertainment, food, art and all things gardening in Redcliffe Botanic Gardens, George Street, Redcliffe on Sunday August 3 from 10.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

The day promises fun and feasting for the whole family, and features cooking demonstrations by Redcliffe's top chefs; a special appearance by the Signing Chef, Robbie Dunn; local butchers battling it out in the Classic Cutlet Cook-off; special gardening guest speakers, Colin Campbell and Will McChesney-Clark; plant, environment, art and craft displays; top quality market stalls, wine tastings, roving entertainment, music and a fabulous range of food and refreshments.

Entry and most activities are free. Gold coin parking at Bradley Park (weather permitting), adjacent to the gardens, entry via Henzell Street

Miscellaneous:

The Bruce Highway provides the main northern link to Redcliffe via Deception Bay, and the Houghton Highway provides the southern link via the Gateway Arterial Road. A metropolitan train service operates from nearby Sandgate and a regular bus service (Hornibrook Bus Lines) links to Redcliffe. Kangaroo Bus Lines connects Redcliffe and Caboolture.
