The Fraser Coast Cultural Festival is held every year in Hervey Bay to thrill and entertain visitors of all ages with an emphasis on having a good time with colourful and interactive performances. Quality entertainers from all around Australia are invited to perform and give workshops as well as many of the local talents.
On Saturday night they have a Gala Performance in the Brolga Theatre in Maryborough to give a sample of the entertainment on show at the free to the public Festival the following Sunday.
The Festival, on the last Sunday in March, starts off with a 'Parade of Nations' by the various Nations represented on the Fraser Coast as well as some of the performers. There is an International Food court and many other cultural stalls and market stalls to sample exotic and local foods and products. The event attracts visitors from the Region, State-wide and also interstate and international visitors.

When entering Hervey Bay from Maryborough turn right at the first round-about into Boatharbour Drive. Follow this to the sign Main Street and turn left. Follow Main Street to the end and at the round-about turn right. Park the car at the Sea Front Oval carpark (100 metres on left) and take the shuttlebus to the Festival site.
This is a cultural event that allows Australians to celebrate their diverse cultural heritage in friendship and cooperation.
