Mary Poppins Festival In The Park
Maryborough
Watch as the world famous nanny, Mary Poppins, works her magic again as Richmond and Wharf streets are transformed into Cherry Tree Lane to help create a fantasy experience for both young and old at the Mary Poppins Festival In The Park.
Watch as nannies and would be nannies around the world prove their pram pushing prowess in the madcap Great Mary Poppins Nanny Challenge. Contenders must wear a traditional nanny uniform and must push a traditional pram complete with a traditional 'baby'. Despite some honourable and respectable rules, anything can and usually does happen in this hilarious race; the likes of which you will not see anywhere else in the world!
Richmond and Wharf Streets are transformed into a bustling marketplace of fine arts and crafts with Queens Park and Mary River Parklands overflowing with activities, rides, steam trains, brass bands and much more.
