In The Bin Short Film Festival is a unique short film festival which kicks off at Currumbin on the Gold Coast and then tours nationally to over 60 communities all over Australia. In The Bin also incorporates a film educational workshop. You can expect the best of Australian and international short film at In The Bin, including comedy, drama, animation and sport. After seven years the event has a strong following with people coming from the Sunshine Coast to Melbourne to be a part of the In The Bin experience. The festival has created an education program to work alongside the touring festival where students create, shoot and edit their own short film within a three day period.
