Get closer, and meet the animals at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Not just the famous lorikeets, but every single creature at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary - from the biggest, proudest Kangaroo to the littlest gecko. They have one of the world's largest collections of Australian fauna, including many rare and endangered species.
Meet Holey, the biggest Saltwater Crocodile on public display. Holey weighs 1,000 kilograms, measures over five metres long and can bee seen at Crocodile Wetlands. With raised walkways and specially designed pools, Crocodile Wetlands provides a unique vantage point to see the crocodiles in action.
The entertaining wildlife shows include the Free Flight Bird show, in which majestic birds of prey display their natural abilities in silent flight, feeding on the wing and amazing airborne agility. Guests can then get up close and personal with some of Australia's fascinating mammal and lizard species at the Totally Wild Show, then see some of the world's deadliest snakes in Snakes Alive. They also takes animal exhibits to a new level, with the fully themed Naturally Wild, allowing guests to gain fascinating insights into a variety of nocturnal and rainforest animals in highly natural surroundings.

Children: Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is suitable and enjoyable for children of all ages. A children's playground area is provided (for use during day entry only).
Disabled: Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary caters for people with disabilities. There are disabled toilets in the park and ramps provided for park access.
General Comments
Traditional culture and Australian animals at their very best: After dark, Currumbin comes alive with activity. The amazing nocturnal animals come out to feed, hunt and play. Australia's indigenous people perform amazing traditional dance and music, all in a fully guided, absolutely fascinating two and half hour group tour you must experience at least once in your life.
General Comments
Look, touch, be enthralled: You'll get to touch some of their incredible creatures. Witness things that growl, hop and slither getting stuck into their evening meals. You'll see one of the biggest saltwater crocodiles in Australia. Hand feed their big mob of friendly kangaroos. See the Tasmanian devil at his most active. Cuddle the koalas.
Watch spellbound, traditional performance by members of the Nyulejam Dance Troupe - the only aboriginal dance show on the Gold Coast. The haunting sound of the didgeridoo echoing through the Sanctuary's native bush land is a truly memorable experience.
Get close: The expert guides are with you all the way. It's very hands-on. You get to see and do things their daytime visitors almost never do, from nimble Sugar Gliders to Northern Bettongs; from owls to spiders. The Wildnight Adventure gets you closer than you ever thought possible, to some of the most amazing creatures of the Australian bush.
General Comments
Wildnight Adventures departs from the main entrance of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. This is a totally unique experience. Transfers can be arranged for Wildnight Adventure for additional charge. Tours operate seven nights a week from 7.15 p.m. Five hours notice is required to amend dates of visit. 24 hours notice is required to cancel. Bookings close at 3.00 p.m. that day.

For an exclusive insight into the operation of the sanctuary guests can also take the behind the scenes tour, which visits areas rarely seen by the public, including the community wildlife hospital and endangered species breeding area. With more than 26 hectares of rainforest and bushland habitats, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is the best way to experience Australia's diversity of natural wonders, all in the one day.
From Brisbane follow the M1 south, to the lights at Tugun, where the Motorway meets the Gold Coast highway. Turn left at the lights and follow the Gold Coast Highway to the Currumbin Hill lights. Turn right into Tomewin Street.

Various discounts have different forms of identification required. Children's tickets are issued to children between the ages of four and thirteen. Pensioner tickets are issued to Australian and New Zealand Pension Card Holders, identification is required. Family rates are available, please contact the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
