The Cairns Night Zoo - A great Aussie night out! Come and see what the Aussies get up to after dark! This excellent evening activity operates every Monday to Thursday and Saturday night from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Included in the evening you will enjoy a delicious barbecue of steak, chicken, fish, salads, prawns, dessert plus beer and wine.
The guided spotlighting tour is a great experience! Meet some of Australia's favourite animals - at their place. During the tour they enjoy billy tea and damper round the campfire with their authentic 'Swaggie' and their tame kangaroos. Back at the entertainment area exchange the spotlight for a cold beer or wine (or two) and join in with their bush musician. Enjoy some tasty supper, more beverages and then learn some great Aussie folk songs and dance with the 'zoo folk'. Guaranteed great fun.
Transfers are available from Cairns, Beaches and Port Douglas. Numbers are limited so pre booking is absolutely essential. A great night out for individuals, small or large groups of every nationality.

ENTRY INFORMATION
Open Times:
Cairns Night Zoo is open from 1900 to 2200 on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday. Opening times are the same on public holidays as long as they are on Monday to Thursday or Saturday. Cairns Night Zoo is closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday.

FURTHER INFORMATION
Children: Children welcome but must be accompanied by an Adult at all times. Entertaining and informative opportunity for them to get close to kangaroos, snakes and crocodiles, wombats, birds, possums and more - all in safety for both animals and children. Children must be accompanied by parent/guardian/ responsible adult at all times. Not suitable for infants due to timing (7.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.).
Disabled: Disabled/wheelchair access is available to all areas of the zoo.
Entity Facilities
Big barbecue dinner includes steak, chicken, fish, seafood, salads, desserts. Beer, wine and soft drink included.
Entity Restrictions
Only restriction is that visitors must not jeopardise the health and welfare of the animals in any way by unauthorised feeding or handling. Visitors so doing will be removed from the premises (or fed to the crocodiles). Must come with a sense of humour and desire to have a great night out.
Cairns Night Zoo is on the left hand side of the Captain Cook Highway, Palm Cove when visitors are heading north. They are 22 kilometres from Cairns City Centre heading north along Sheridan Street (which becomes the Captain Cook Highway), we are one kilometre from Palm Cove resorts and 35 kilometres South of Port Douglas. Transfers are provided by several local tour operators. For example All In a Day Tours, Beaches Meet and Greet operate scheduled tour specifically for Cairns Night Zoo.
