My Town Tours provides a short, informative afternoon City Sights tour of Cairns to help you 'get your bearings'. Learn about the pioneering history of the region. Travel through the city, industrial and residential areas on the way up to Campbell's Lookout for a panoramic view over the city. Then on to the Royal Flying Doctor Service Visitor Centre (not open on Sundays and Public Holidays) - this is optional and not included in the tour price - where you can hear about the history and daily operations of this world renown organisation. And finally, a short stroll through the spectacular Botanic Gardens.

Travel up the Great Dividing Range through World Heritage rainforest to the Cairns Highlands. Learn about the history, industry and people from a local, experienced, tour guide. Take a morning tea break at Jaques Coffee Plantation then feed the Rock Wallabies at Granite Gorge. Visit the Mareeba Heritage Museum with its extensive displays depicting the history of the region. After a country hotel lunch, see wetland flora and fauna at the Mareeba Tropical Savanna and Wetland Reserve and take a boat cruise on the lagoon. Enjoy afternoon tea and tropical wine tasting at the Golden Pride Winery and mango plantation.
