Join in the excitement, adventure and fellowship of this signature race and rally of cruising and racing yachts retracing the course of the original race between Dent and Dunk Island held in 1909. As part of the rally you will explore the coastline between Airlie Beach and Cardwell in the company of other like minded people. Spend time at resorts and secluded bays on the way. In the race, you will be competing with the best the region has to offer in a passage race through some of the most pristine waters in Australia. The event will showcase the yachting heritage of the region.

This is the fifth time this event has been run and as the centenary will be larger than ever before. You could use this event as a means to cruise north to Lizard Island or join many overseas rallies leaving Australia from Darwin and Cairns.
Arrive at Airlie Beach and be a crew member or sail in to join the fleet. Registration is at the club rooms on Abel Point Marina Airlie Beach.
