Oz Adventure Sailing is the largest and most diverse crewed overnight sailing company in the Whitsunday's. Departing daily from Airlie Beach, they offer a choice of itineraries and activities to suit the customer's individual needs while sailing the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef marine park. The professional crew will make your holiday memorable with their local knowledge of the area and will look after appetites with sumptuous meals.
The owner operated fleet consists of 25 vessels ranging from six to 33 passengers offering all inclusive sailing holidays to suit individuals, couples and groups of any size who want to learn to sail, dive, snorkel, explore or simply relax.

Oz Adventure Sailing's base in the Whitsundays is located at Airlie Beach on the Queensland coast, approximately half way between Brisbane and Cairns. Proserpine (Whitsunday Coast) Airport is serviced daily by Qantas and Virgin Blue. The terminal is only a 45 minute coach ride from Airlie Beach. Qantas also has daily flights into Hamilton Island Airport. From Hamilton Island it is only a 45 minute ferry ride to Shute Harbour, where air conditioned coaches meet every ferry for the 20 minute transfer to Airlie Beach. A fun alternative is to take a 10 minute Island Air Taxi's light aircraft transfer from Hamilton Island to Whitsunday Airport. From here it is only a 10 minute ride in a cab to Airlie Beach. Other options include road transport by coach or car and rail access via Proserpine station.
Cancellations made less than 21 days prior to departure will result in complete forfeiture of 100 per cent of the cruise price.

All Oz Adventure Sailing (OAS) professionally crewed and catered sailing holidays include skipper and crew/hostess, on board accommodation, fantastic meals, fresh linen and snorkelling equipment. OAS prides itself on giving guests a flexible, quality, value for money cruise around the Whitsunday Islands and Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Where accommodation is stated as Single, the rate is for one persons stay in a single bed in a shared cabin. Where accommodation is stated as double, the rate is for one persons stay in shared or private double accommodation.
Oz Adventure Sailing reserves the right to substitute vessels without notice at any time for any reason. Clients should note that adventure travel involves risk. Whilst they make every effort to safeguard clients, Oz Adventure Sailing cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to the actions of clients which are beyond their control. All cruises are subject to weather and therefore cancellations, changes to cruise itinerary or duration due to weather, illness or to ensure passenger safety will not be refunded. They recommend that clients take out travel insurance.
What To Bring - Only bring a small soft bag for your sailing holiday and pack a beach towel, t-shirts, shorts, swimwear and a hat, a warm pullover and pants for evenings, warm clothing (seasonal), deck shoes (no black soles) and walking shoes, insect repellent, sunscreen, favourite music. Pacific sunrise is a fully licensed vessel, bring your own is strictly prohibited.
To confirm your bookings in compliance with their reservations and accounting systems, Oz Adventure Sailing requires pre payment or written confirmation stating that payment in full has been received from the client and that their terms and conditions are clearly understood and agreed to. In all cases a valid voucher/reference number must be attached. Payment prior to travel or within 30 days of date of invoice (whichever comes first) is required. Please note there is a Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and National Park entry fee of AUD33.00 levied on all visitors to the Marine Park and these are to be paid when checking in at the Oz Adventure Sailing office in Airlie Beach. These figures include administration charges and are subject to change as per Government legislation. Rates for Pacific Sunrise please contact the operator.
During the warmer months from October to April there is a risk, albeit slight, that customers might come into contact with dangerous Jelly Fish while swimming or snorkelling. To enable customers to minimise the risk, they make available stinger suits for hire and they will strongly recommend that customers take up the option of hiring a suit. Oz Adventure Sailing has no fixed itineraries for their scheduled departure sailing holidays. The desires of guests are considered in relation to prevailing weather conditions to ensure that everyone aboard enjoys their sailing holiday.
