The Peace Festival Warwick is a festival with a message!
This biennial arts and cultural event is aimed at exploring and promoting a culture of peace - personally, locally and widely. The Peace Festival's theme for 2009 is ""Creating Connections"" across generations, cultures, communities and to the land.
The festival will feature a grand scale community performance event on the Condamine River; plus a film festival, poet's breakfast, soccer carnival, art exhibition, drama event, workshops, market stalls, activities and a riverbank concert under the stars (featuring some well known performers).
Meet people, get involved or simply enjoy - what a way to experience Warwick and the Southern Downs.
