Four days, 500 artists, 11 stages, 15 free events! The QUT Urban Country Music Festival is four exciting days of free events, concerts, markets and the best of country music. Located only 45 minutes north of Brisbane at Caboolture, the festival offers entertainment and a unique experience for people of all ages kicking off with the free Burbs n' Bush Party on Friday night.

Over the weekend you can attend 15 free events including the Beaut Ute Show, Songwriters Cafe, bush poets, clogging, pig racing, a talent search and much more. There are also free concerts held every day including the New Zealand Showcase on Saturday and Urban Blaze on Sunday.

The highlight of the festival is the Main Concert on Saturday which sees the hottest country stars take to the stage in nine hours of nonstop music.

Children: Children are welcome. There are special events specifically for children.

Disabled: Access is available for guests with a disability. Disabled parking is available at the main concert and also at other venues. For more details please visit the operator's website.

Caboolture is 44 kilometres north of Brisbane. Take the Caboolture exit off the Bruce Highway and follow Lower King Street to the Central Business District. Or, catch the main rail line that runs from Brisbane to Nambour and hop off at Caboolture Station in the heart of the Central Business District. There are free festival shuttle buses running throughout the weekend between festival venues and key accommodation spots. Free satellite parking is in place for the main concert on Saturday, 2 May 2009 at Morayfield Shopping Centre, Morayfield Road and the Farm Fantastic site, Pumicestone Road. Free shuttle buses will also run from parking venues.

Although the majority of the events are free of charge, the Main Concert is ticketed. Ticketing information will be available in October 2008. Please contact the operator for further details.
