The Roma Cup is one of the largest country race meetings in Western Queensland. The prize money offered at this event attracts quality thoroughbred activity and they are expecting around 8,000 people to pass through the gates this year. A highlight of the weekend is the 'Calcutta and Cocktail Party' on Friday evening.
The fun, food and live band will see the party running until the early hours of Sunday morning. This party kicks off a fun weekend, including the ever popular 'Fashions on the Field' and culminates in the running of the Roma Cup on Saturday 15 November.

Free camping is available at Bassett Park, no bookings required. Powered sites are available for a cost, first in first served. Showers and toilets also on site.
Roma is about five hours drive west of Brisbane on the Warrego Highway. The race track is one kilometre north of town and within walking distance of the town centre. Qantaslink, Greyhound and Queensland Rail all service the district.
