Broadbeach Surf School (BSS) offers you an unforgettable surfing experience with friendly, qualified instructors who live to surf, love to surf and want to share the magic of surfing with you. You will learn to ride waves, have fun, gain confidence in the ocean and discover why surfing becomes a lifelong passion for many. BSS is located in a quiet, friendly area of Broadbeach surrounded by parks, cafes and barbecue areas. Escape the hustle and bustle and chill out as they share their beach, ocean and local knowledge with you. BSS is a one hour drive from Brisbane, a three minute drive from Surfers Paradise and a short stroll from the centre of Broadbeach.

Open from 0930 until 1600 daily. Closed on public holidays.

Cancellation Policy
No refunds for lessons cancelled with less than seven days notice. For lessons cancelled with seven or more days notice there will be a 25 per cent administration charge.
General Comments
You will need to bring along your swimwear and towel, also recommended is a hat, sunscreen, drink bottle and surf shorts (girls too). Refrain from wearing jewellery including watches. Valuables can be left at the shop including passports. All equipment is supplied including surf shirts and wetsuits. Equipment hire is also available.
How to get There
60 minutes from Brisbane, head south from Surfers Paradise along the Gold Coast Highway for three to four minutes. You will pass Crowne Plaza and a seafood restaurant shaped like a fishing boat. Continue on until you get to Chelsea Avenue which is your first left after the Sushi Train (directly opposite the Cascade Gardens). Turn left and continue through the first intersection. On your right hand side there is a small block of shops and on your left hand side is the Broadbeach Soccer Club. Broadbeach Surf School is located upstairs in the small block of shops.
